What is it?

blamehangle is Yet Another IRC Bot. Our goal is to block as little as possible. HTTP transfers, database queries and even DNS lookups are all implemented as callbacks using either threads or non-blocking sockets. The bot can quite easily handle many networks and channels simultaneously.

Requirements

Python >= 2.2 (preferably 2.3)
For some plugins, you will need a database server of some kind. We currently support:
- MySQL + MySQLdb
- PostgreSQL + PyGreSQL (included) or psycopg.
- SQLite + PySQLite

Installation

Read the docs/INSTALL file in the distribution.
